Role: Respiratory Therapist providing patient assessments, care planning, and therapy management across multiple hospital locations.
Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments, establish care plans, communicate with care teams, administer therapeutic modalities, manage mechanical ventilators, provide patient and family education, assist with intra-hospital transport, manage acute airway situations, monitor patient vitals, assist in procedures, and support discharge planning. Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations, collect blood gas samples, function as shift coordinator, and mentor students and new staff.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from Specialty Training Program, minimum of 2 years related experience, ability to float between facilities, and work 12-hour shifts. Strong communication, clinical skills, and adherence to safety and care standards are essential.
