Role: Full-time Respiratory Therapist responsible for patient assessments, care planning, and therapy management across multiple hospital locations.
Responsibilities: Perform thorough patient assessments, establish care plans, communicate with care teams, administer therapies including aerosolized medications and oxygen, manage mechanical ventilators, provide patient and family education, assist with intra-hospital transport, perform emergency airway management, monitor non-invasive devices, assist with discharge planning, collect arterial blood gases, maintain patient confidentiality, serve as Shift Coordinator, support invasive procedures, and act as a preceptor for students.
Qualifications & Skills: Requires graduate from a specialty training program, 2+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to float between hospital sites. Strong clinical skills in respiratory care, emergency response, patient education, and teamwork are essential.
Key Duties: Adhere to safety standards, document procedures accurately, assist with invasive procedures, support patient transport, and contribute to a collaborative care environment. The role involves day and night shifts, with responsibilities including emergency response and patient education.
