The Polysomnographic Technologist/RCP is a licensed Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) responsible for conducting sleep studies, scoring sleep events, and ensuring quality standards.
They collaborate with leadership to provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic sleep services, ensuring a positive patient experience by adhering to protocols and hospital values.
Key duties include patient assessment, managing sleep disorders through procedures like polysomnography, EEG, MSLT/MWT, oxygen/CPAP/BiPAP titration, airway management, blood gas analysis, and patient education.
They troubleshoot and calibrate equipment, oversee supply inventory, mentor staff, and supervise new technicians.
Scheduled for full-time night shifts (7p-7a) with a sign-on bonus, requiring an Ohio RCP license and an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Coverage is provided as needed.
