Position: Respiratory Therapist – Per Diem Level 2, Nights
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with respiratory procedures and provide therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients as ordered.
- Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment methods, document activities, and transcribe physician orders.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy, especially in pediatric and neonatal cases, and communicate treatment plans to patients and families.
- Provide education to patients and staff on respiratory care.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligibility.
- Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license within 6 months.
- Current CPR certification; ACLS, NRP, and PALS required within 24 months.
