Role: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering respiratory care to patients.
Key Duties:
- Performing thorough patient assessments and establishing care plans.
- Administering therapeutic modalities such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and secretion management.
- Managing mechanical ventilators and monitoring non-invasive devices.
- Providing patient and family education on disease management.
- Assisting with airway management, intra-hospital transport, and emergency situations.
- Collecting arterial blood gases, ensuring safety standards, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Supporting intra-hospital procedures like bronchoscopy and invasive monitoring.
- Functioning as a shift coordinator and preceptor for trainees.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required).
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required; provided by the employer.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
- Ability to operate advanced respiratory equipment and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
