Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift

Role: Respiratory Therapist at a Level I Trauma Center and Level III NICU, providing critical care across diverse environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients’ pulmonary needs.
  • Deliver respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and cystic fibrosis patients in general units.
  • Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, cardiac arrests, and emergency admissions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care throughout hospitalization.
  • Utilize RT-driven protocols, including extubations, with autonomy.
  • Potential growth into Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Neonatal Transport, and ECMO specialization.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program.
  • Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) within one year of hire.
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Key Duties: Provide high-quality, autonomous respiratory care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, supporting continuous professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
