Respiratory Therapist II (Night Shift)

The role is for a Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care in critical settings, including ventilator management, medication administration, and airway procedures.

Key duties include assessing patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, and educating patients and staff. The therapist promotes patient safety, quality care, and evidence-based practices while supporting a positive team environment and mentoring new staff.

Qualifications required are an associate’s degree in respiratory therapy, certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Experience in clinical and critical care settings is necessary, along with strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills.

Additional responsibilities include documentation, participation in quality improvement initiatives, and adherence to organizational policies.
