Position: Lead Respiratory Therapist
Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday, 7pm – 7:30am, with rotating weekends and holidays
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating daily shift activities and assisting staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Planning and organizing shift tasks, maintaining patient care standards, performance improvements, and budget adherence.
- Adjusting assignments based on workload, staffing, or unexpected events.
- Providing leadership, assisting with patient assessments, and initiating orders per protocols.
- Resolving procedural or equipment issues and addressing patient, physician, or nursing complaints.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
- State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Illinois.
- Current CPR, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
- Level 3 NICU experience required.
