Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care, including ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education. Collaborate with healthcare teams, verify orders, and participate in invasive/non-invasive procedures. Promote safety, documentation accuracy, and evidence-based practices. Support staff and student education, coordinate activities, and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications required. 0-2 years of clinical experience, including at least 6 months in critical care. Must possess strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships.
