Full-time Sleep Respiratory Therapist position at Dayton Children’s South Campus in the Sleep Clinic and Diagnostic Labs department.
Hours are 32 per week, Monday through Friday, 8-hour days.
Under supervision, the therapist educates patients and families on sleep-related breathing disorders and PAP treatments, monitors compliance, and verifies device settings. They support clinic intake, assist with complex patients, and aid in daytime procedures like PAP naps, MSLTs, and Actigraphy.
As a discharge planner, they assess and manage home respiratory care, coordinate resources, facilitate discharges, and follow-up care. They collaborate with healthcare teams and serve as a resource for patients, families, and community agencies.
Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree, 2-3 years pediatric respiratory care experience, RCP licensure, and BLS. Preferred qualifications are a Bachelor’s Degree, 1 year sleep lab experience, and certifications like SDS or RPSGT. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.
