Job Summary
Performs respiratory therapy procedures on patients with various needs and physical abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administers respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed.
- Monitors patient responses and adjusts treatments accordingly.
- Maintains accurate documentation of procedures and patient progress.
- Collaborates with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensures equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas (required).
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License (required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, to be obtained within 30 days of start date.
