Role Overview:
Perform respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities, ensuring effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies following physician orders and established protocols.
- Assess patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient responses.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
- License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the State of Texas.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
