Role Overview:
Performs respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and conditions.
Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate clinical competencies to provide respiratory care for adult, neonatal, and pediatric patients.

Assess and evaluate patient clinical information, review medical records, blood gases, and lab data.

Review x-ray and radiology reports, discuss patient care with physicians, and make recommendations.

Explain, monitor, and adjust patient responses to therapy; perform procedures timely and according to standards.

Complete documentation, communicate patient information to healthcare team, and inspect equipment for proper function and safety.

Participate in clinical instruction for allied health students and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.

Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner from the relevant state.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 30 days of start date.
Skills & Experience:
No specific experience required; emphasis on clinical competencies, knowledge of adult and pediatric care, and equipment management.
