We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist responsible for performing a variety of respiratory therapy procedures to meet patient needs.
Key duties include:
- Demonstrating clinical competencies in respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- Collecting and assessing clinical information through inspection, auscultation, review of medical records, blood gases, and lab data.
- Reviewing imaging reports and discussing patient care with physicians, offering recommendations.
- Monitoring patient responses, adjusting therapies accordingly, and documenting procedures.
- Ensuring equipment functionality, troubleshooting, and maintaining safety standards.
- Participating in clinical instruction for health students and other assigned duties.
Qualifications include:
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
- Licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and Registered Respiratory Therapist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, required within 30 days of hire.
Skills and experience: Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy techniques, ability to work with diverse patient populations, and effective communication with healthcare teams.
