Job Summary
Performs respiratory therapy procedures on patients with diverse needs and physical abnormalities.
Key Duties
- Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate respiratory treatments.
- Administer therapies such as oxygen, inhalation medications, and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program.
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy.
Experience: N/A
Certifications & Licensure
- Respiratory Care Practitioner license from the State of Texas.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, required within thirty (30) days of start date.
