Responsibilities
- Assess patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
- Treat respiratory illnesses and manage care plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Operate and manage ventilators and deliver oxygen therapy.
- Perform diagnostic and monitoring procedures, including arterial blood gases and oximetry.
- Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to support safe, effective patient care.
- Adapt to varying facility workflows and EMR systems while maintaining documentation standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials.
- Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory assessment, treatment, and diagnostic testing.
- Proficiency with ventilator management and oxygen therapy delivery.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, diverse care environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
