Certified Respiratory Therapist provides evidence-based, patient-centered respiratory care in a mission-driven healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
- Administer oxygen and aerosol therapies
- Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation
- Perform diagnostic procedures including spirometry and arterial blood gases
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and coordinate care with the clinical team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans
Qualifications & Skills
- Certified as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong clinical knowledge of respiratory assessment, therapy, and ventilation
- Proficiency in diagnostic testing (spirometry, ABGs)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Excellent communication and patient-education skills
