Travel Allied Respiratory Therapist (ICU)
Provide high-acuity respiratory care to critically ill patients in ICU settings. Manage and monitor ventilators, perform arterial blood gases (ABGs), and support airway management. Collaborate with ICU teams to ensure safe, effective patient care and strong clinical outcomes.
Use modern digital tools to handle staffing/contract processes, adapt quickly to new hospital environments, and maintain compliance.
Key Duties
- Deliver respiratory therapy for critically ill patients
- Operate, troubleshoot, and monitor ventilators
- Perform and interpret ABGs
- Assist with airway management and related interventions
- Coordinate with ICU staff to support patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety standards
- Adapt efficiently to new facilities and workflows
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered/licensed Respiratory Therapist with ICU experience
- Strong critical care and ventilator management skills
- Competence with ABG procedures
- Effective teamwork and communication in high-acuity settings
- Comfort using digital tools and maintaining compliant documentation
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new hospital environments
