Summary
Under medical direction, provides treatment, management, diagnostic evaluation, and care to patients with cardio-pulmonary conditions. Conducts initial and ongoing assessments, develops and documents individualized care plans, and implements patient education. Evaluates therapy outcomes and demonstrates professional responsibility in the Respiratory Therapist role.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Certification: CPR (AHA), ACLS/BLS, Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner Licensure, Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Formal knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory treatment and management for patients with cardio-pulmonary issues
