Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate overnight support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community-based homes.
Key duties:
- Provide awake or asleep overnight supervision and support
- Assist with personal care and bedtime/morning routines
- Administer medications in accordance with established procedures
- Monitor safety and respond appropriately to overnight needs
- Support individualized goals and encourage independence
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation
Qualifications & skills:
- Compassionate, patient approach with a commitment to quality care
- Ability to assist with personal care and routine-based support
- Comfort and reliability in following medication and safety procedures
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
