Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments primarily in critical care settings.
Responsibilities: Perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care planning. Provide patient and family education, mentor new staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Ensure safety, accurate documentation, and compliance with policies.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree. Certifications required include NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Clinical experience of 0-2 years, with at least 6 months in critical care. Must possess strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, along with the ability to establish professional relationships.
