Role: Respiratory Therapist III
Responsibilities: Provide advanced respiratory care in critical settings, including ventilator management, medication administration, airway procedures, and patient assessment. Educate patients and support systems, coordinate activities, mentor new staff and students, and participate in quality improvement projects. Ensure patient safety, accurate documentation, and adherence to evidence-based practices.
Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy; current NBRC-RRT credential; certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; minimum two years of clinical experience in critical care areas; strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills. Ability to work independently, collaborate with healthcare teams, and serve as preceptor.
