Role: Respiratory Therapist II
Responsibilities: Provide advanced respiratory care, including ventilator management, medication administration, patient assessments, and airway procedures. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans, educate patients and families, and mentor staff and students. Ensure patient safety, documentation accuracy, and compliance with quality standards. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support invasive/non-invasive procedures as needed.
Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Therapy (preferred), NBRC-RRT certification, and required licenses (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RCP). 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and computer skills. Ability to work independently in complex patient situations and provide compassionate care, addressing biological, emotional, and educational needs.
