Registered Respiratory Therapist II @ Cobb Hospital

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment in critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Performing patient assessments, managing ventilators, administering medications, and conducting procedures such as intubation and arterial blood gas analysis.

Educating patients and supporting staff development, while collaborating with healthcare team members for comprehensive care planning.

Promoting a safe, high-quality environment through adherence to policies, documentation, and performance improvement initiatives.

Participating in invasive/non-invasive procedures and pulmonary diagnostic testing as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
Certifications: NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS required upon hire.
0-2 years of clinical experience, with at least 6 months in critical care.
Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills, with ability to establish effective relationships with healthcare professionals.
