Role Overview
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5 years of experience to join the respiratory care team. The role involves providing comprehensive respiratory services for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures according to established standards and policies.
- Applying advanced clinical expertise and serving as a resource within the patient care team.
- Ensuring patient safety by providing age-appropriate, effective care while adhering to quality and regulatory standards.
- Participating in effective communication, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare colleagues.
- Providing education and training to patients, families, students, and staff about respiratory treatments and procedures.
- Performing specialized procedures such as ECMO support, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopy, sleep lab, and cardiopulmonary rehab as needed.
Qualifications include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program, RRT or CRT certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree. The role requires excellent communication, critical thinking, and a commitment to continuous learning.
