Role Overview
Seeking dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care for respiratory conditions. Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, and implementation of respiratory therapies, including advanced procedures like mechanical ventilation and pulmonary testing. Demonstrates clinical expertise, supports patient safety, and educates patients, families, and healthcare team members. Applies scientific knowledge and adheres to quality and regulatory standards. May perform specialized tasks such as ECMO support, bronchoscopies, and sleep lab procedures. Contributes to a collaborative team environment and participates in continuous learning and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provides patient-centered respiratory care and education.
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per established guidelines.
- Communicates effectively within the healthcare team and documents appropriately.
- Supports clinical development through participation in programs and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Licenses & Certifications: Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT, BLS.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience: None required; clinical competency is essential.
