Role: Full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering patient respiratory care.
Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough patient assessments, develop care plans, and execute treatments such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and artificial airway management. Manage mechanical ventilators, provide patient and family education, assist with intra-hospital transport, and respond to emergent airway situations. Collect arterial blood gases, assist with procedures like bronchoscopy, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty training program; proficient in evidence-based practices, protocol-driven care, and collaboration with medical teams. Ability to operate advanced equipment and perform age-specific patient care.
