We seek a compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of respiratory care activities. The role involves independently applying advanced clinical expertise, serving as a resource to the healthcare team, and ensuring patient safety through developmentally appropriate care that complies with regulatory standards.
Key duties include:
- Effective communication, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare team members
- Providing education and training to patients, families, students, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures aligned with established standards
- Demonstrating advanced skills supporting complex procedures such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep lab services
Qualifications include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program, valid Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT) license, and basic life support certification. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree. No prior experience is required, but candidates must be committed to continuous learning and patient safety.
