Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, individualized, and safe patient care in a clinical setting. They practice within a framework guided by evidence-based standards, professional nursing practice acts, and organizational models, ensuring adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, involving patients and families in care planning.
- Coordinate and document safe care delivery through effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote safety and quality standards.
- Mentor and serve as preceptor to other nurses and staff, fostering professional development.
- Contribute to protocol development, resource management, and adherence to organizational policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.
- Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
- Less than one year of direct patient care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
