Position: Registered Nurse – Surgical Care Unit
Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing care in accordance with state laws, hospital policies, and procedures.
Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
Delegate appropriate tasks to staff and collaborate as part of a team to achieve unit goals.
Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure quality patient care and safety.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing preferred.
At least 1+ years of RN experience in an inpatient setting required.
Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification are mandatory.
Associate Degree in Nursing acceptable if a Bachelor’s is obtained within five years of employment.
Skills: Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities, teamwork, delegation, and adherence to nursing standards.
