Seeking a registered nurse for a Level 2E Special Care Nursery, providing expert neonatal care in a full-time night shift role. Responsibilities include delivering professional nursing care aligned with state laws, hospital policies, and critical thinking to assess patient conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations. Delegating tasks appropriately and collaborating as part of a team to achieve unit goals are essential.
Qualifications include:
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if only an Associate Degree, must pursue a Bachelor’s Degree within five years.
- Current Illinois RN licensure.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of hire.
- Preferably 2 years of NICU RN Level 3 experience.
