Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgery/Bariatric – Acute Care

The RN Clinical Nurse plays a vital role within an interdisciplinary care team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a clinical setting supported by evidence-based practices and organizational standards.

Responsibilities include

performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation;

partnering with patients and families through effective communication and education;

collaborating with team members to coordinate safe, efficient care;

participating in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities;

serving as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development;

adhering to legal, regulatory, and safety standards.

Qualifications and skills:
Must hold an active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Prior clinical experience and strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills are preferred.
