Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care. They practice within a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational values.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making.
- Coordinate safe, quality care through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and participation in performance improvement initiatives.
- Support professional development by completing competency assessments, serving as a preceptor or mentor, and engaging in ongoing education.
- Promote evidence-based practice, research, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards, including accreditation requirements.
- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, develop protocols, and optimize resource use.
- Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining compliance with policies and standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- BLS certification required.
- Less than one year of clinical experience, with clinical hours from an accredited nursing program preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and communication skills.
