Role: The RN Clinical Nurse collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, patient-centered care, practicing according to evidence-based standards and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. They support system policies, foster a respectful environment, and uphold the organization’s values.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nursing process steps—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making, respecting cultural diversity.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care while practicing teamwork through interdisciplinary rounds and communication methods.
- Participate in performance improvement, research activities, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
- Support resource management and develop protocols to improve care efficiency and reduce re-admissions.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional development among colleagues and students.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, legal, and accreditation standards, including safety goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate’s Nursing or Diploma required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Active RN license (single or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification are mandatory.
- Less than one year of clinical experience preferred, with clinical hours completed in an accredited program.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
