We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Resident to participate in a comprehensive 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support newly licensed RNs with less than 6 months of experience.
In this role, you will provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care under supervision, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and high-quality outcomes. Your responsibilities include performing the nursing process, engaging families and significant others in care, and practicing in accordance with professional standards and organizational policies.
Key duties involve care coordination, documentation, participation in performance improvement, and supporting evidence-based practices. You will also serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional growth and contribute to a healthy work environment.
Qualifications include a diploma or degree from an accredited nursing program, current RN license (multi-state or single-state), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Prior experience is less than one year.
