Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform the nursing process, and adapt care to diverse patient populations, ensuring individualized treatment and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication and teaching, respecting cultural diversity.
- Coordinate and document safe, quality care while promoting a respectful, inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with team members, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and support shared governance.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled healthcare workforce.
- Promote evidence-based practice, research, and compliance with healthcare policies and standards.
- Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum and develop protocols to improve outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum education: Nursing diploma or associate degree; bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses/certifications: Active RN license, BLS or ARC-BLS certification, required upon hire.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of clinical nursing experience required; direct patient care preferred.
