Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg 5W
Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, coordinate with departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and deliver care aligned with mission and standards.
Unit Details: Care for adult medical patients with diverse diagnoses, offering opportunities to strengthen core skills, enhance assessment abilities, and manage varied medical needs.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN), current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure, BLS certification, and preferred hospital experience. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform prolonged standing and mobility tasks.
Skills & Certifications: Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills; BLS certification; BSN preferred; additional certifications and experience in specialty areas are a plus.
