Role: Registered Nurse in a Critical Care Step Down Unit, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to diverse populations including those with CHF, COPD, DKA, and Sepsis.
Responsibilities: Utilize advanced technology such as telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and virtual whiteboards. Perform EKG interpretation, central line care, and assist with bedside procedures like endoscopies and bronchoscopies. Demonstrate critical thinking, delegation, and effective time management in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, providers, PT, and OT.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current Ohio RN licensure, and certifications in BLS and ACLS. PRN requires at least one year of RN experience and all certifications at hire.
Preferred Skills: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and professional certification recognized by the Magnet designation.
