We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering direct patient care using the nursing process, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
Documenting patient care, monitoring and communicating patient conditions, and assisting with activities of daily living.
Collaborating across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharges, and psychosocial support.
Providing patient and family education tailored to individual needs and advocating for patient well-being.
Qualifications and skills:
Current RN license in Tennessee or a compact state; associate’s degree required, BSN preferred.
Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, Handle With Care, and Basic Arrhythmia within specified timeframes.
Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and stress management skills.
One year of experience preferred.
