Registered Nurse (RN) – Full Time – Oncology

Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care. They practice in a clinical environment supported by leadership and a shared governance model, adhering to evidence-based standards and the ANA Code of Ethics.

Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families through effective communication and education. Coordinate safe care delivery, document accurately, and foster teamwork and collaboration within a respectful environment. Engage in professional development, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and support performance improvement initiatives. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research, and ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and accreditation requirements. Contribute to resource planning and protocol development to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications: Requires an Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred), active RN license (single or multi-state), and BLS certification. Less than one year of clinical experience post-licensure is preferred. Skills include strong clinical reasoning, communication, teamwork, and adherence to professional standards. All certifications should be obtained upon hire.
