Role Overview:
This position involves supporting various inpatient units as a PRN Clinical Nurse Float, providing patient-centered care across multiple hospital departments (excluding ER and ICU). The role offers flexibility with self-scheduling, day or night shifts, and coverage across 65+ units. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, promoting safety, and educating patients and families on managing their health. The nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication and quality standards are met.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
- Ability to work independently across diverse units
- Current RN license and nursing diploma/associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred)
