Role: Emergency Department Registered Nurse responsible for providing rapid, compassionate patient assessments and urgent care in a dynamic environment. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes within the scope of practice outlined in the New York State Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care, delegate tasks appropriately, serve as team leader, and participate in ongoing assessments and care planning. Support patient-centered outcomes and contribute to a well-functioning emergency department during ongoing renovations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN license in New York
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; must complete BSN within 5 years if hired without one
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to patient care emergencies
