Role: Registered Nurse responsible for delivering safe, quality patient care across all age groups, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations in line with standards of practice.
- Manage activities of daily living, IV therapy, EKGs, and prioritize patient needs effectively.
- Use clinical judgment to assign duties to staff based on their competencies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying performance opportunities and implementing improvements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, social workers, and community resources to enhance patient outcomes.
- Complete accurate documentation using approved forms, transcribe physician orders, and ensure legal compliance.
- Perform related duties as required to support patient care.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN licensure in the state, BLS certification; ACLS preferred in some areas.
- Minimum of six months to one year experience in a specialty area preferred; PALS preferred for PACU.
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
