Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within a collaborative care team. Serving as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, the nurse ensures patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, evaluate, and respond to patient conditions, assisting with care plans and promoting positive outcomes.
- Deliver safe, effective care following hospital policies, maintaining thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and incidents.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and facilitating communication among care team members.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas for process enhancements, and support organizational goals.
- Maintain professional licenses and certifications, engage in ongoing training, and pursue professional development opportunities.
- Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and upholding standards of confidentiality, safety, and professionalism.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN license (single or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Experience in direct patient care preferred.
