Role: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical setting supported by leadership and evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based standards.
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs.
- Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals are central to care plans.
- Coordinate safe, quality care via interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and promoting a respectful environment.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified future workforce, modeling professional nursing practice.
- Engage in evidence-based practice, research, and resource development to improve patient outcomes.
- Plan for ongoing patient care needs and participate in protocol development to optimize practice outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Valid RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- Certifications: BLS, PALS, and others as required upon hire.
- Experience with direct patient care preferred.
