Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care – Ortho Trauma

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care planning and take appropriate actions to promote outcomes.
  • Deliver safe, effective care following policies, documenting assessments, care provided, and incidents accurately.
  • Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and ensuring clear communication with families and staff.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and support organizational goals for quality and patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations.
  • Foster a positive work environment, mentor colleagues, and uphold standards of confidentiality, safety, and professionalism.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Current RN licensure (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required.
  • Experience in direct patient care preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
