Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care – Ortho Trauma

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assist with care plans, and deliver safe, effective care according to policies and procedures.
  • Document assessments, care provided, and changes in patient status accurately.
  • Advocate for patients, addressing concerns, providing education, and maintaining communication with families and staff.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational goals.
  • Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and professional development.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and upholding professional standards.
  • Support shared governance principles, act with integrity, and promote the nursing profession.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Current RN licensure (single or multi-state license).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Experience with direct patient care is preferred.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
