Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Oncology (PRN)

Role Overview: The registered nurse provides high-quality patient care by collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key intermediary between patients, families, and providers, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.


  • Core Responsibilities: Monitors patient conditions, assists with care planning, prioritizes patient flow, and documents assessments and interventions. Advocates for patients by addressing concerns, educating families, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Performance Improvement: Participates in initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and organizational performance. Supports change and contributes ideas for process improvements.
  • Professional Growth & Leadership: Maintains licensure, pursues training, mentors colleagues, and fosters a positive work environment. Upholds safety, confidentiality, and professional standards.

Qualifications: Requires an Associate, Bachelor’s, or Master’s in Nursing (preferred), and active nursing licenses with required certifications such as BLS. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required for PRN roles.
