Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a key liaison between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions; develop and execute care plans; prioritize patient flow; and maintain accurate documentation.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating essential information to families and care providers.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational goals for quality and safety.
- Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing development and leadership opportunities.
- Mentor and support colleagues, foster a positive work environment, and uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in Nursing (preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
- At least one year of nursing experience required for PRN roles.
