Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Oncology (PRN)

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, serving as a frontline representative, advocate, and communicator for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Coordinate care activities, prioritize patient flow, and document assessments and interventions accurately.
  • Address patient and family concerns, deliver education, and ensure patient-centered care to enhance satisfaction.
  • Engage in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational quality goals.
  • Maintain professional licenses, certifications, and pursue ongoing professional development.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment aligned with shared governance principles.

  • Qualifications & Skills:
  • Associates, Bachelors, or Masters in Nursing preferred.
  • Required certifications include BLS and RN licensure (multi-state or single-state).
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience for PRN roles.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and professionalism are essential.
